Winner of “Best Short Documentary” at RIFF 2016, Cafe Kreyol tells the redemptive story of Joey Stazzone and his transformation from a drug smuggler and heroin addict to a successful businessman with a big heart for helping others. The film was shot over the course of 3 weeks in Haiti, Honduras, and Nicaragua and edited and animated over a 3 month period.
